    Our organic supima cotton is from Alvarez Farms, New Mexico, USA. Taishoboseki is a factory located in Osaka, Japan where our organic supima cotton is made into yarn. After the yarn is made, the fabric is knitted in Ishikawa, Japan.

    Our organic supima cotton is certified GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OCS (Organic Content Standard). Taishoboseki started organic cotton farming at Dosi Alvarez's farm introduced by Ms. Sally Fox in New Mexico, USA in 2001.

La Union in New Mexico is positioned high (located 1,200 meters above sea level), has a large temperature difference between night and day and has hardly any rain. Therefore, the area's climate is ideal for growing cotton. 

    In 1992, Mr. Alvarez switched over to sustainable, organic farming.
